Dearborn, Mich. — So you think you know your favorite Ford Racing personality. You know them by what they do on the track and by their sponsor and you have read dozens of interviews, but those seem to always ask the same questions.
This week Ford Racing debuts a new feature, 10 Questions with Ford Racing. We came up with a list of non-traditional questions to ask your favorite Ford Racing personalities. To keep this consistent we are going to ask the same 10 questions to the Ford drivers and personalities.
Up first is Ashley Force Hood driver of the Castrol GTX Ford Mustang Funny Car in the NHRA’s Full Throttle Series. Ashley is third in the points heading into Round 7 at Madison, Ill. She recently won her second Funny Car event taking the hardware at Baytown, Texas.
1. WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE IN LIFE?"Gossip magazines. In fact I have four of them on my desk right now."
2. WHO DO YOU BELIEVE IS THE WORLD’S GREATEST LIVING DRIVER?"This may be a little corny, but I am going to say my dad. He would never believe I would say that not just because of the championships he has won, but the accident he had during the 2007 season and the fact he has been able to come back is simply amazing. I don’t think I could have come back from something like that and I am a 26-year-old young person. He went through something none of us can say we have ever gone through and he came out of it and has won since and is right back on top of his game. So I will say my dad just because of the battles he has faced to get back to where he is today."
3. DO YOU GO TO THE MOVIES A LOT? WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE AND WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE ACTOR? WHO WOULD PLAY YOU IN YOUR LIFE STORY?"I do go to the movies a lot. My favorite movie right now is Step Brothers. Don’t ask me why because it is the most ridiculous movie ever. I absolutely love Julia Roberts. I love all the movies she has been in because they are fun romantic comedies. Favorite actor would be Nicholas Cage. I have no idea who would play me in a movie."
